Plate
sequencing(Multiple primers/ 1 plate) |
" Plate Sequencing" refers to the orders
charged per plate.
To use this order, your samples should meet all of the following criteria.
- Samples are sent to Macrogen pre-arranged in 96-well plates.
- Only two custom primers (or two universal primers) in tubes could be acceptable
for applying this
Plate sequencing.
Note : For three or more primers, another paired primer plate
with your sample plate should be provided.
If not, your order will be regarded as Normal sequencing reactions.
- Sample and primer name is shown in the results.
[Sample_name]-[Primer_name].ab1
ex)
HCVNS5B_SP6.ab1
BRCA2-A02_T7.ab1

|
1Primer/1Plate |
" 1 Primer / 1 Plate"refers to the orders
charged per plate.
To use this order, your samples should meet all of the following criteria.
- Samples are sent to Macrogen pre-arranged in 96-well or 384-well plates.
- One single primer should be applied to the whole plate, so that we Macrogen
can simply put the primers to the
corresponding sample plate.
- No sample name is required, but plate name is enough for this service.
We will provide the results as the following file name.
[Plate_name]-[Well_position]_[Primer_name].ab1
ex)
HCVNS5B-H05_SP6.ab1
BRCA2-D24_T7.ab1 |
* Note:
- The well to well variation of the concentration of your samples is very
important to get better results,
please keep it as constant as possible.
- Free retrial is not available for this service. Any retrial request will
be regarded as a new order of regular reaction.

|
Normal
sequencing |
| It is the most typical single primer extension service.
Plasmid or PCR product template is read with your
designated primer.
|
|
16s
rRNA |
Starting from bacterial cell, we provide all inclusive
service performing DNA extraction, PCR, sequencing
and assemble.
1,300bp or longer sequence is guaranteed for domain bacteria.
|
|
Difficult Sequencing |
" Sequencing of Difficult DNA templates"is
specified for templates which are not successful in
normal sequencing condition done by BigDye v.3.1,
AB.
This service has different rate of price and it is sequenced with more customized
condition and reagent. For more information, please
* You may not get expected sequences depending on sample characteristics.
|
|
Primer walking |
This service is to read 2~10kb of sequence with PCR
product or plasmid DNA that cannot be read fully by
single primer extension sequencing.Once performing
end sequencing with designated primer by customer,
we design internal primers with reference to end sequence
data.
Necessary walking continues with the same method until the whole region is covered.About
one week is taken to read 1~1.5kb by primer walking.

|
Cloning |
Besides the main purpose of the cloning, we can improve
the sequencing results through this cloning service
for contaminated PCR products which usually show double
peak in chromatogram.
This service goes like below,
- Step 1. Making plasmid by inserting a customer's PCR products into vector (T-vector
or Blunt-vector)
- Step 2. Inserting the plasmid into bacteria cell for culture
- Step 3. Cell extraction for the plasmids
Please note that a customer shall inform us that which type of DNA polymerase
was used in PCR before sending samples because vector for usage totally depends
on the existence of pfu-taq in DNA polymerase.
|
|
PCR Optimization |
This service is to find optimized annealing temperature
for high quality of PCR products from the gDNA of
our customer.
If you have no time to do PCR or you are not confident in PCR, please let us
do it.
We can expect better sequencing results when we do PCR here.
|
|
18s rRNA |
It is getting more popular to define species by using
sequence information. This service is to find out
rRNA sequence by sequencing DNA corresponding to the
rRNA.
In case of eukaryote(ITS 5.8s), after rRNA full sequencing, we can find out the
similarity of customer's microorganism with microogarnism in NCBI.
Starting from bacterial cell, we provide all inclusive service performing DNA
extraction, PCR, sequencing and assemble.
1,300bp or longer sequence is guaranteed for domain bacteria.

Ready-to-load
|
What is Ready-to-load Service?
If you have finished sequencing reaction followed by purification, and your samples
are ready to be load on the sequencer immdediately, please choose 'Ready-to-load'
service.
They shall be directly loaded to the sequencer without any prior treatment.
For this service we need DNA sequencing reaction done by BigDyeTerminator
v3.1. Quality of sequence data is not guaranteed and no resequencing is provided.
Only 96-well plates are accepted for this service, and it shall be charged
'per plate'.

EZ-Sequencing |
 |
|
What is EZ-seq service?
EZ-seq service is the most easy and straightforward way of sequencing your samples.
You just attach the EZ-seq labels to your samples and send them to Macrogen.
You don't need to fill in any forms for the samples. Also, you won't get
every individual invoices per order.
And, most importantly, it is cheaper and faster than our regular sequencing service.
How
to use?
1. Request EZ-seq labels at
Only one invoice will be issued for the entire amount
of labels, and you won't get any individual invoice.
2. We will send the labels to you in 3 business days.
3. In the meantime, please prepare the samples in the following condition.
- 5ul of 50ng/ul PCR product + 5ul of 5pmole/ul primer
- 5ul of 100ng/ul plasmid + 5ul of 5pmole/ul primer
4. Attach the EZ-seq label to the sample tube.
5. Send them out to Macrogen Europe's laboratory.
6. You will get the results within 24 hours from the date of sample
arrival.
