Macrogen Inc. provides various services to analyze genome by using various approaches such as Shotgun, cDNA, BAC, Cosmid, and Fosmid. The service is supported by using ABI 3730XL capillary sequencer after the library production. Sequencing and library construction can be separately ordered.
a. Library construction
We provide genomic shotgun and large size shotgun library
construction services. The service provides library construction
with the insert size from DNA source ranging from 1.5
~ 10kb as our customers request. The service will take about 4 weeks
after our
sample Quality Check.
b. Library construction & Sequencing
We provide genomic shotgun and large size shotgun
library construction services. The service include library
construction with the insert size from DNA source ranging
from 1.5 ~ 10kb as our customers request and sequencing the
library as well. The service will take about 5 ~ 6 weeks
after our sample Quality Check.
cDNA library
a. Library construction
We provide cDNA library construction service. cDNA library
is synthesized from total RNA obtained from RNA, Tissue,
or Cell provided from our customers using Vector ligation. This service
will
take about 4 weeks after our sample Quality Control.

Library construction & Sequencing
We provide sequencing service of cDNA library synthesized
from RNA derived from RNA, Tissue, or Cell using Vector ligation.
This service will take about 8 weeks after our sample Quality
Control.
BAC library
a. Library construction & Sequencing
We provide Large insert genomic BAC library construction
service through which customers will have genomic library containing
an insert size of 100-200kb from High Molecular Weight (HMW) DNA.
Based on the library, we perform the sequencing. The library construction
service will take about 8 weeks after our sample Quality Control
and sequencing service turnaround time will vary depending on the
sample amount.
Cosmid library
a. Library construction
We provide Cosmid library construction service using Cosmid
Vector and insert size of 40kb directly isolated from
DNA source. The service will take about 4 weeks after our sample
Quality Control.
b. Library construction & Sequencing
We provide Cosmid library construction and sequencing
service using the library containing Cosmid Vector and insert
size of 40kb directly isolated from DNA source. The service
will take about 5 weeks after our sample Quality Control.
Fosmid library
a. Library construction
We provide Fosmid library construction service using Fosmid
Vector and insert size of 40kb directly isolated from
DNA source. The service will take about 4 weeks after our sample
Quality Control.
b. Library construction & Sequencing
We provide Fosmid library construction and sequencing
service using the library containing Fosmid Vector and insert
size of 40kb directly isolated from DNA source. The service
will take about 5 weeks after our sample Quality Control.
